“I loved the inter-dance between the art (= uncommon feelings, thoughts), myself (= opening up and seeing what it lets unfold within me), and movement (= letting the shift inside unfold in movement). During the whole experience, I discovered more and more, as if my soul could connect to different dimensions of the paintings. (…)
The group experience was also very touching, especially as it was with my family.
We could connect on a very profound level, as the experience of the art, the expression in movement, and the personal painting were true expressions of the soul.
The overall experience was, for me, magic—when I stepped into the free expression of my soul, letting go of limitations, programs, doubts, etc. In my daily life, I’ve kept a beautifully playful attitude since the experience. I love to play with this process of “deeply moving inspiration” > “feelings” > “pure and raw expression as movement or art.”
“I became a flow of energy, and a real intimacy was found between me and the painting(s) I chose to dive into. It felt like a mirror—a beautiful mirror—of my own judgments, feelings, insecurities, softness, hardness, edges, and curves. My heart felt more open than ever.
The act of drawing and collaging reminded me how much I love creation, reflection, and connection with myself through art and creative mediums. The breath-work at the start really helped and felt grounding. The paintings themselves were really intense, and it was also an opportunity to explore my boundaries—my edges where I go into a nurturing or uncomfortable zone.
I really loved this experience and want everyone around me to experience it.
